Founded by Toma Langston in 2009, InnateVolution Theater Productions is
committed to presenting theatrical productions that cause "Human
Revolution"- a Nichiren Buddhist Concept.

What is Human Revolution?  It involves ones innate ability to evolve or be
transformed through life experiences.   This transformation will provoke one
to dialogue with others and spread the experience.

InnateVolution Theater Productions strives to create  theatrical experiences
that encompass many art forms such as, fine art, dance and music, etc.  Our
goal is to cause our audiences to evolve and thus, affecting others to evolve,
which continues to spread from individual to individual.  Ultimately evolving
into a more conscious and compassionate society.

In addition to our mission, the following are our Artistic Goals:

  • Foster and develop new works by local Chicago playwrights,
    composers and lyrists;

  • Sponsor and cultivate any art form project that promotes and
accurately supports our mission statement; and

  • Support Dance, Music, Theater, Poetry, and Fine Art projects that
embody the essence of our mission.

“All of the arts, poetry, music, ritual, the visible arts, the
theater, must singly and together create the most
comprehensive art of all, a humanized society, and its
masterpiece, free man”
