As part of our mission, New Play Circle is a monthly
series of stage readings designed to foster and
develop new works by local playwrights.
New Play Circle gives playwrights an opportunity to
display drafts of their work for the first time and
receive immediate feedback from an audience of their
peers. Each play reading is Free (donations are
accepted) and includes a post-show discussion.
Additionally, New Play Circle offers playwrights a
chance to develop there pieces from Draft to a Free
Public Performance.
New Play Circle has four stages for the playwrights'
work:
- Reading & Discussion
- Stage Reading w/ Rehearsal Time
- Stage Reading w/ Rehearsal & minimal Props
- Free Public Performance
